It's not a phone call. It's not even a bad dream.
It's just 3am, and your brain decides to think, “what if something happened tonight, and no one knew for hours?”
Your parents are asleep, thousands of miles away, in a house that's quiet in a way you can't hear from here. You know the neighbors' names. You know your mother has been more tired lately. You know your father skips his evening walk when it's humid. But knowing isn't the same as being there, and at 3am, that distance stops feeling like geography and starts feeling like a risk.
This is the quiet math every NRI runs, whether they say it out loud or not. If something goes wrong, how long before anyone finds out? How long before I find out?
It's not dramatic. It's not even constant. It just shows up - on ordinary nights, for no reason you can point to, and sits there until morning.
What if that gap didn't depend on luck? We think it shouldn't.
Stay tuned for the launch, very soon, of the EmergencyAssist service by the CareYogi Digital Hospital.
