Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Yashwant Singh Bisht, Chief Medical Advisor at CARE YOGI, is a distinguished dermatologist, academician, and healthcare administrator with over four decades of extensive experience spanning clinical practice, medical education, and hospital leadership. He holds an MBBS and MD in Dermatology & Venereology, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital & Health Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Medicolegal Systems. Dr. Bisht served with distinction in the Armed Forces for 35 years, where he undertook a wide range of clinical, administrative, and leadership roles. Following his retirement, he served as Medical Superintendent at Himalayan Hospital, Jolly Grant, playing a pivotal role in strengthening hospital operations and enhancing patient care delivery. An accomplished academician, Dr. Bisht has over 22 years of teaching experience, including more than a decade as Professor of Dermatology and two years as Head of Department. He continues to be associated with the same institution, contributing to clinical excellence while mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. In addition, he is the proprietor of a multispecialty clinic in Dehradun, where he remains actively engaged in patient care and community health services.
